إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ(٨١)

Innahu min AAibadina almumineena

81 . Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves .

ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ(٨٢)

Thumma aghraqna alakhareena

82 . Then We did drown the others .

۞ وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِ لَإِبْرَاهِيمَ(٨٣)

Wainna min sheeAAatihi laibraheema

83 . And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham

إِذْ جَاءَ رَبَّهُ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ(٨٤)

Ith jaa rabbahu biqalbin saleemin

84 . When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart ;

إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ(٨٥)

Ith qala liabeehi waqawmihi matha taAAbudoona

85 . When he said unto his father and his folk : What is it that ye worship?

أَئِفْكًا آلِهَةً دُونَ اللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ(٨٦)

Aifkan alihatan doona Allahi tureedoona

86 . Is it a falsehood gods beside Allah that ye desire?

فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ(٨٧)

Fama thannukum birabbi alAAalameena

87 . What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds?

فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِي النُّجُومِ(٨٨)

Fanathara nathratan fee alnnujoomi

88 . And he glanced a glance at the stars

فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ(٨٩)

Faqala innee saqeemun

89 . Then said : Lo! I feel sick!

فَتَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ(٩٠)

Fatawallaw AAanhu mudbireena

90 . And they turned their backs and went away from him
