فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰ آلِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ(٩١)

Faragha ila alihatihim faqala ala takuloona

91 . Then turned he to their gods and said : Will ye not eat?

مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ(٩٢)

Ma lakum la tantiqoona

92 . What aileth you that ye speak not?

فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًا بِالْيَمِينِ(٩٣)

Faragha AAalayhim darban bialyameeni

93 . Then he attacked them , striking with his right hand .

فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ(٩٤)

Faaqbaloo ilayhi yaziffoona

94 . And ( his people ) came toward him , hastening .

قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ(٩٥)

Qala ataAAbudoona ma tanhitoona

95 . He said : Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve

وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ(٩٦)

WaAllahu khalaqakum wama taAAmaloona

96 . When Allah hath created you and what ye make?

قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَهُ بُنْيَانًا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِي الْجَحِيمِ(٩٧)

Qaloo ibnoo lahu bunyanan faalqoohu fee aljaheemi

97 . They said : Build for him a building and fling him in the red hot fire .

فَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَسْفَلِينَ(٩٨)

Faaradoo bihi kaydan fajaAAalnahumu alasfaleena

98 . And they designed a snare for him , but We made them the undermost .

وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ(٩٩)

Waqala innee thahibun ila rabbee sayahdeeni

99 . And he said : Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ(١٠٠)

Rabbi hab lee mina alssaliheena

100 . My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous .
